Character Design
My illustrations are focused on characters I developed in my story. The three examples shown to the right are my thought process of how I approached the design. After getting a general idea of the outfits and color palettes, I illustrate them in poses that fit their personality and finalize their designs by adding more details to them.
Color Thumbnail
Before executing the illustration, I would make a color thumbnail. The color thumbnails help to form an overall atmosphere of the illustration. They ensure the emotions that I want to convey parallel with the color I decided to use.
3D Assistance
I use 3D modeling programs for more complex compositions. The 3D model does not have to be exact. Getting the basic shapes will be effective enough for me to complete the rest of the illustration using drawing programs.
